skillz title, chance, koabd (ranks 5+6), r13 hero +, r7 glad + r5 champ+
but most of all legendary master of the north, this title is just amazing, because in cantha or w/e you can get seperate titles for doing the mish's in nm and hm, you get a title for exploreation, and for vanquishing. but in gwen they are all 1 title and you have to do them all.

IMO the most prestigious titles are: Incorrigible Ale-Hound, Connoiseur and Treasure Hunter in PRE SEARING

to me, the only pve titles im impressed by is KoaBD-title track.. just shows someone put alot of effort in it, otherwise im not really impressed by pve-titles.. On the other hand, i am impressed by any pvp-title (except for luxon/kurzick), basicly because i never really pvped :P

i find all the 'WM' fans hilarious.
ever realised they pretty much only win cause they make you lag out? or don't you play with rangers enough to know that 500 ping doesn't do enough.
yes, sure, they're decent, and their hyper defense builds are pretty good too, but none of them is really good by all means.
they just farmed too much RA back in the day.
also, some of you guys do realise that Zaishen was bugged once and gave glads on double weekend, yes?
Foe is absolutely right IMO. and the dead hours is just another proof of it..
this is however, not title related at all. :P
every title can be prestigious in the same way -- there's always a cheap way to get something (may it be txtmod, ursan, or gimmicks in PvP, FFF for survivors, bug abuse in pre bla bla etc) -- but if you know someone EARNED their title, most of them are still fairly prestigious. :P
so a generalisation about titles is usually bad..so are generalisations about players in general (not getting off topic; but all you luxon/kurzick/pve/pvp people that love to get into this argument might understand what i mean)
IMO some prestigious titles, containing both PvE and PvP
PvE
Legendary Master of the North, pure pain in the butt. ^_^
Vanquisher and Guardian are the same as LMotN
all Legendary Cartographers...yep. doing these without having txtmod or any sort of help that tells you where to look for..time consuming, and i nearly adore these stubborn people that don't even give up.
Protectors of all sorts are ok, they can show that someone doesn't completely suck at the very least.
Grind titles are prestigious too, i really wonder how people can not go insane when grinding all day. mind you, the title itself is hardly prestigious, just the people not dying to boredomness cause of it.
for PvP, they're probably all equal, less HB.
TA is a decent start and you can see interesting skirmishes there. though, one weak player can usually get carried through.
HA has always been a gimmick fest (not so different from TA, though), but there's still enough that have a high title from balanced. needs respect for going against all the crap.
GvG is kinda the same like HA, just more balanced at times, a lot more tactics involved, contains skirmishes too, while the number is obviously lower.
i kind of think that balth faction in most cases > PvP titles. they're often a good mix of experience.
but of course, fairness and knowing who actually deserves them makes them prestigious too.
so, lots of crap, why did i even care, titles r dum.

Skill Capping titles. Like Vanquisher titles it means you're pretty much able to destroy anything in sight, but now you have hundreds of elite skills as a bonus.

the most prestigious title?
Well you have people who love PvP most
And you have those who choose for the PvE part.
To mine opinion, these are really 2 differnt kind of people.
(I dont count those who do pvp just for fun inbetween)
So on PvP part it must be the Hero Title.
On PvE part.. I really wouldnt know couse to me they are al grinding or mony
sink titles witn not a lot of vallue.
Accept that some of them buf the PvE skills.

My choice would be Legendary Vanquisher because it's one I did myself. H/H the whole thing using a modified SabWay. Incredibly painful at times. As has been said a couple of times throughout the thread it takes a lot of patience, and yes, skill.

All Pve titles involve grinding and nothing else, that's why they're worth shit (except Legendary Defender of Ascalon which involves an amount of grining so incredible that it's actually a prestigious title)
As for PvP:
In Ha, Leeloof Esp is the only one who I like, because he got his r14 with (atleast greatly with) balanced builds. All other tombs-titles are worth shit.
HB: hahaha
GvG: Since there are champ5s in SoG, the title is only worth something from c6++ on.
Bottom Line: Titles are bad

I think titles have an importance when you are PUGing. Titles like Protector and Vanquisher can show that you (or the guy you want to invite) are not some random noob. Or, if you are a noob, youre at least a competent one.
So, Protector/Guardian and Vanquisher are the titles i value in PvE.

I think Commander tit track is the coolest. You need to be able to micro manage heroes and cap shrines. The one I hate so much is fame. This was killed by people who like to spam bambi.

I would love to see someone with it, and would love to know how they got it...
LDOA is grind yes, but I think it invovles a hell of a lot of dedication, so yes - this title impresses me.
MotN also impresses me.

Yes, the GH glitch probably made this possible.
I don't consider any titles "prestigious". They're something to keep us occupied until GW2 comes out.
